The Mainstream Media Turns a Blind Eye Toward Blatant Racism
By: Todd Kinsey
Thursday, July 8, 2010

The more I think about the dismissal of the Black Panther case in light of the additional video footage
that has appeared with Black Panther leadership saying “I hate all white people!” and "that if you want
freedom then you gonna have to kill some crackers!" the more I question our leaders and our media.
Where is the outrage from the left over this blatant racism? We have not heard a thing from any of our
elected officials denouncing this reprehensible behavior. Of course these very same people are quick
to label Conservatives, people that attend Tea Parties, and those that speak out against the current
administration’s agenda as racists.
Where is the news media? Other than Fox News and conservative new media outlets, there has been
no coverage of this at all. CNN gave a cursory interview to former Department of Justice attorney J.
Christian Adams, however, you cannot find mention of it on the CNN website nor did a search of their
website yield any results.
A similar search of the MSNBC / NBC News website yielded only a link to an Associated Press article
from July 1, 2010.
A search of ABC links us to the same AP article and a blog entry from ABC’s White House
Correspondent Jason Ryan but of course you have to scroll down past results for Alicia Keys and
Huey Newton.
Similarly a search of the CBS News website makes no mention of the case and a search yielded
more results on white supremacists than of the Black Panthers.
Of course Media Matters, who is backed by billionaire and Obama insider George Soros, is quick to
defend the real racists and accuse those that are defending the rights of all Americans of “race
baiting.”
When will the supposed mainstream media start doing their job and stop acting like the White House
Media Corps? Of course that question is rhetorical because the odds of that happening are about the
same as the media admitting global warming is a hoax but that’s the subject of another article.
That is exactly why the Obama administration and others on the left want the power to regulate the
internet so that they can silence their critics and usurp the first amendment.
This is precisely why President Obama’s nomination of Elena Kagan, with her views on silencing
political speech is so dangerous. As Constitutional Scholar David L. Hudson points out: “Kagan
argued in the government’s brief that speech was entitled to no First Amendment protection if its
harms outweigh its benefits (Is that another way for saying if the means justify the ends? Ed.):
“Whether a given category of speech enjoys First Amendment protection depends upon a categorical
balancing of the value of the speech against its societal costs.” So by Kagan’s assertion, and if
Obama gets his way, the FCC could say that conservative opposition to the president’s radical
agenda is harmful to society and ban it.
What the left has come to understand from the teachings of Saul Alinsky is that “organization for
action will now and in the decade’s ahead center on America’s white middle class.” Why you ask?
Because according to Alinsky “when more than three fourths of our people from both their economics
and their self identification are middle class, it is obvious that their action or inaction will determine
the direction of change.”
Alinsky also teaches that “all issues must be polarized if action is to follow.” That is why the
administration and their allies in the liberal media have initiated this all out assault against
conservatives, calling us racists for supporting Arizona’s immigration law or denouncing our
president’s agenda. No one wants to be considered racist and that probably why we’re hear crickets
chirp on our side of the aisle too.
See you in the trenches…
