The economic crisis started in 2008 and included George W Bush’s bailout of Wall Street.
Our economy is peaking and ultimately falling because we don’t export anything any more and we all buy everything from China. Not because there is an educated black democrat in the Whitehouse. The fact that most people don’t get that means it isn’t going to change.

But I would appreciate if you would walk the walk and stop all of your purchases from China, Inc. while you stand there, wrapped in the flag, making claims about who is a true American, and who loves or hates this country.
My point? Our collective purchasing habits have done far more damage, and created greater security risk to this country than the wife of an educated, liberal, black President, who is shackled and kept in check by Congress.
Why are American companies moving to China, Mexico, India, and elsewhere to manufacture products and then go through the expense of shipping them to the U.S.? Because we have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Companies are in business to make a profit and the policies of our government have made it increasingly difficult for them to do so. Couple that with the ridiculous demands of labor unions and you have a very unfriendly business climate.

When I was in the Air Force, these ceremonies always filled me with a sense of pride and patriotic emotion. She just gets bored. Liberals really do just hate this country.

I am not a democrat. I have actually been raised in a very conservative republican household. And yes, I am from Texas and attend private school. Also, I wasn’t saying that anyone else had mentioned race, religion, etc in this forum, but it has been raised in many others and any one of those things could be the reason behind why people want to believe she said that.

The Clinton administration’s subprime mortgages is what destroyed the banks, which resulted in Bush’s bailout (which I strongly disagreed with) Now, look at the deficit at the end of Bush’s term and look at it now. You can’t blame bush for the deficit getting tripled in record time. Our last 4 presidents have been complete idiots. Oh, and as far as asking someone ‘why don’t you run for office?’ Do some more research and find out how much it costs to do so. I’m from Australia, and people outside of America really don’t understand how some American’s worship the US flag so much. Why on earth should the US flag get more attention than anyone person who died? After all, any flag is a symbol, and placing more reverence on it than any one person’s life or death is disrespectful to those who died.
The flag is a symbol of the thousands of brave men who fought to secure the blessing of freedom for America. The rest of the world has been fortunate to sleep under the blanket of protection that America provides. I have trained with Aussie soldiers and they have nowhere near the dedication that America’s fighting men have. In short, if you’re not American you won’t understand but you should be thankful because without us you would be under the thumb of oppression.
Australia lost over 100K soldiers in WWI-II. It wasn’t cowards who landed at Gallipoli (sp); 30K plus were POWs; Their soldiers/airmen/sailors provided essential support to our soldiers/airmen/sailors (my dad being one on the light cruiser USS Columbia), particularly in the Pacific. Without their help we would have lost many more than we did. Please don’t be so dismissive of them.

Second, @Adam: The American flag was the product of conflict for our independence, and the design of our flag concerns symbolism surrounding that and the growth of our nation. Our flag is a “living thing” in many ways because of that, and , as far as I know, it is the only flag that grows as the nation grows, from 13 stars at the outset to 50 today. It is what sets America apart from all the other nations, our love and respect for our flag, the flag that symbolizes who we are as Americans, and is treated as a respected warrior when they are “decommissioned” by burial or respectful cremation.

There is something insideous and evil about this couple . Our wise forefathers new with a strong military we could not be defeated from the outside . Their very , very wisely constructed Constitution was to protect the people from being destroyed from tryanny . However , I don’t think they counted on our own Representatives to allow a radical man like Barack Hussein Obama to be put into office . The level of corruption within Congress is breathtaking ! Every single person who knowingly went along with this should be charged with TREASON ! They should be imprisoned , starting with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Any Judge who prevents lawsuits against Obama should be removed from office ! How can we the people do this if Obama gets reelected ? I think its unfair to criticize everyone on their views, especially when your so proud to have fought for every individual to have their own opinon. Just because someone doesnt share the same views doesnt mean their wrong. nobody knows if she said that or not, I personally can’t tell what she says. However when someone puts something in your mind that is what you will see, because your looking for it. I also don’t feel that Obama hasn’t changed anything, but to be honest none of the presidents really have for years… and it will probably stay like that for many years to come…
