Even the president knows his policies have failed.

This week the DNC is hosting their national convention and they are going to try and convince the American people that we should double down and bet on the failed policies of the last four years. Well I’m sorry Mr. President but we’ve heard it all before.

Check out the video below and you’ll see that President Obama has been championing the same tired rhetoric for four years now. The fact is, America is in far worse shape under Obama’s leadership. End of discussion.

It’s not 2008 anymore, a fact the Democrats conceded with their Thursday night venue change. Trying to warm over the same tired four-year-old glittering generalities won’t sell to the millions of Americans whose lives have quantifiably worsened in the last four years.

The bigger “oops” moment was the twin God/Jerusalem debacle on the convention floor. Two do-overs and a healthy round of booing God later, the Democrats may have just lost Middle America for a very long time. Anyone who says nothing exciting happens at conventions anymore needs to rethink that position as of today.

The parts that we’ve heard before, are useless; the parts that we haven’t heard before (“You didn’t build that,” etc.) have been tasteless. And yet the race remains a dead heat. Go figure.
